Wes Aull, CPA graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2004 with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematical Economics, earning departmental honors and completing graduate-level coursework during his bachelor's. He went on to earn his Master's of Professional Accountancy from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005, ranked as the #1 graduate program in accounting by the U.S. News and World Report. Starting his professional career in Boston, Wes worked for the international accounting firm BDO Seidman. His experience included auditing financial statements of publicly-traded and privately-held companies in the biotechnology, manufacturing, research, and service industries. Wes assisted in planning and execution of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 audits, testing financial controls at companies to ensure the accuracy and reliability of accounting systems. In 2008, Wes opened his accounting firm in Nashville, Tennessee, where he focuses on tax, accounting, and consulting services for the small business and individual. Wes is soon-to-be certified as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and continues to research new opportunities to add value to the small business. In his spare time, Wes studies economics, financial history, and government policy in order to better understand business conditions in today's markets. Wes also enjoys biking, the outdoors of Tennessee, and working with non-profits that add to the welfare of the community. Wes proudly serves as treasurer for the Tennessee Equality Project and Artrageous, Inc. Patrick Cooper is a Masters of Accountancy student at Belmont University. Prior to attending Belmont, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science at Florida State University and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University. He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and is currently progressing towards becoming a CPA. Additionally, Patrick is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a Certified Fraud Examiner. Patrick is an avid distance runner and active in the Nashville running community. He serves on the Race Judicata Committee of the Nashville Bar Association's Young Lawyer Division. |
